Teams to root for this week in conference play:
Jacksonville, Tennessee tech, south Florida, Coastal Carolina, Mizzou st, FAU, St. John's, Northeastern, C. Fla.....

Need as many as these teams to win their title game as possible.

I think we're about to get phucked by the Rays vs Red Sox game on Raycom.

Pitt vs GT and UV vs FSU are on tv but not our game.

Unless it's blacked out in your area, it looks like all the games are available on Watch ESPN. I was just able to pull up the Pitt/GT game that's currently live on my phone w/no issues. Note - I live in Virginia.

For those that may be interested, D1Baseball.com isn't charging for scores/updates during the conference tournaments.

Georgia Tech (Baseball America 2nd team out of the tournament) lost to Pitt. BA said in their chat that they needed to go 1-1 to secure an at-large. Now they appear to be out unless they beat UNC. We're still the 8th team out coming into the week.

FSU beat UVA so the pool C winner will be either FSU or NC State. UVA and GT are essentially eliminated from the Tournament so far.

Dallas Baptist is in as well out of the Valley. If either of those win the tournament it'll be the same number of bids.

So, does BA assume all or almost all of the high RPI, non-power conference teams win their tournament?

Not off to a good start in the American tournament - UCF has already gone 2 and BBQ, and USF lost their opener.

We essentially have to have the auto bid. It’s hard to imagine us being taken before UCF or even FAU if they lose their conf tourney at this point. It’ll take a miracle and a little bit of Morris sympathy to get in without an ACC title. The RPI just isn’t their

You also have to remember the committee takes where you are into consideration. Say what you want about how bad we were last year, the sole reason UCLA got in over us was bc they were a west coast team and the west coast was underrepresented. They don’t like sending teams across the country to fill a 3 seed. Everything is working against us here.

So uhhh.....is anyone watching what Clemson is doing to Notre Dame?! It's 21 - 4 in the B6th.

Missouri State run ruled their opponent and Dallas Baptist taking care of business in their game, so the Valley tourney is going according to script. Either one wins and it's the same number of bids there.

Baseball America thinks we need to get to Saturday to have a chance, but realistically thinks we get in with a finals loss. Obviously a finals win gets us in, so that's where they see us needing to get to. Believing that the number of ACC wins, win streak to end season, and maybe a little bit of Morris gets us in with that scenario.

I know I'm a bit of an optimist on this board, but I still see a path to getting in with a Finals appearance. Tomorrow is basically another elimination game.
