For us it's got personal reasons especially for old timers. The whole SEC dislikes the gator. The gator simply thinks he is part of a elite class looking down on especially any Florida team. Miami is still Suntan U and the city made up of 3rd world thugs and gangsters.
I truly hate them I know this because everygame they play I watch to see if they lost. I hate them for taking us off their schedule. For 40 years it was a home and away. And I hate them for the Gator flop it was humiliating and they never answered for what they did. Our best way of getting them back is winning which we have done in almost every game since that incident. I am personally impressed by Canes fans carrying on the hate it's warranted.
THE ONLY GOOD gATOR IS A DEAD GATOR- Walt you would be proud of Canes fans today they carry on the tradition very well.

There would simply be no better way to cement TNM than to beat the schitt out of the gator.
 
So this last week the gator has been releasing more player interviews. I just love how their players are as bad as their fans. Talking a lot of we are going to take care of business etc etc etc.

Don’t go to their message boards unless you want a good laugh about how confident they are. Every poster was predicting a blowout
