In another season I got a team with an offensive rating of 86.1
I had Cam and X from 24, Duke from his 1,600 yard season in 14, Edge from his 1,400 yard season in 98, and Willie Smith from 84.

We somehow lost to FAU and finished the regular season 10-2. Then we lost the ACCCG against Clemson and missed the playoff.

Life as a Canes fan in a nutshell.

WR stats are hard to mine because we don't have many 1000 yard seasons. So, if you hit 2025 then you need Toney.

You spin and hit any of the 80s teams and the stats hurt you despite the hall of famers.

Playing a few rounds and it's a tough watch as you suffer through the Laron Byrds, and Tyrone Moss's of the early 2000s.

Literally a lost era where we barely contributed to cfb, sad.. Thats one of reasons I was soo happy for the younger fans to enjoy last season, many never seen it in their lifetime and its eye opening how bad it is..

I always knew Jacory would get us a natty just took an extra 18 years. idk how that team won, my highest rating was 86 and got smoked in poffs. confusing, but fun time waster OP I played like a hundred times.

Yeah, Walsh is the one other QB besides Ward and Beck where the stats help the offensive rating to win it all in this simulation.

Running through the simulation a dozen times and it helps paint a picture of two realities: 1. We may not truly recognize how dark our dark days have been and 2. The game of football has changed so much that a guy like Allen Hurns had a better statistical career (at least a season) better than guys we consider studs of the program and game like Perriman and Irving (Payton was a solid player but had a better rushing season than the #3 pick Highsmith).

Really puts some things into prospective

So I've gone 16-0 about 5 times one with TVD as QB, however this one was the highest rated offense I've had and still went 15-1.

Hard to keep these college kids focused for 16 straight weeks... need some lucky bounces at sometime during the season. Hopefully we get those in our favor

Yep, I noticed using the double dip on a year like '02 or '25 was the strategy.
