Met another one in KC, THERE'S SOME CANES OVER HERE.... and you said that you are on here, so if you see this, giving a shoutout to this season ticket holder!
You named almost everything Kansas except Gates and Authur Bryants. Lol like Philly, I compare those 2 spots to Pats and Geno's. Tourist traps. Not the best BBQ.Overland Park, Leawood, Shawnee, Gates BBQ, Arthur Bryant’s, Rosedale, stand up!
I really have been to all of these places.

That’s like I’m RVA but no longer live in Richmond, VA.@RVACane
I used to live in KC also. It’s been a while for me as well. I lived all over on both sides.
Lee’s Summit
Independence
Overland Park
Liberty
Still say they have the best Bbq around. My favorite was Arthur Bryant’s. I wasn’t as wild about Gates as most people were. I also liked Jack Stack as well.
Scott’s Kitchen in the northland is a hidden gem. Fantastic BBQ up by the airport. I go for there for breakfast. The burnt end breakfast burritos and tacos are phenomenal. As a Northlander, Wabash in excelsior springs is not bad either!

Bryant’s meat was delicious (big confidence1000 pause). The sauce was gritty.
