CANES - Duke SCORE PREDICTION

ND game back in the early 70'S or so maybe earlier on a Friday night in the OB torrential rain storm , would I be correct ?
No. We beat Oregon the last game of the season in 1958, 2-0. It was a day game in the OB, which was unusual because we normally played on Friday nights. But, it was a TV game and they made almost everyone sit on the north side to make the crowd look bigger for the TV cameras.

Ah, the bad ole days. UM finished the year 2-8.

The Blue Devils are coming off a heartbreaking 54-45 loss at Pittsburgh where they gave up the game-winning touchdown with five seconds left. Duke totaled 619 yards of offense in the loss, with running back Deon Johnson totaling a school-record 403 all-purpose yards and quarterback Daniel Jones throwing for 396 yards and four touchdowns.

Still think we will out score them in a shootout?

Pitt ran for 450 yards last week against this team. We shouldnt need a qb to win this one.

But we all know this wont be easy.....

No score prediction this game. Hopefully our defense shuts them out and we at least score a field goal and walk away with the victory. At this point I have no faith this offense can score 21 points against anybody. If our D, gives up 3 tds, we lose.

Miami 31
Duke 13

As bad as we've been playing lately, Pitt ran all over these guys and they haven't looked like the typical David Cutcliffe team. We also play great at home, and our defense will show up. We'll do enough on the ground to win, but it could definitley be an ugly win as well.

If we lose, all **** will break loose.

Apparently they have a siht-ton of injuries on defense.

Pitt avgd 9yds a carry last week.

Over/under on our "offensive" line getting stuffed at the 2 after a first and goal.
