Shaq Q and Nick Roberts out of Oakleaf have their kick off classic on Friday... I will provide an update after the game... Oakleaf is starting the season ranked number 2 behind St Thomas in class 7A and number 12 overall...I don't like the ranking gives the impression you made...when the season hasn't even begun...hopefully they can keep their heads in a realize that the most important game of the season is the one they are about to play

Yea, I never understood ranking teams before the season started either. In fact I'd give it the halfway point before you know what a team has.

Well if you're in touch with high school football then you can kinda gauge where most teams are at based on last season's talent + key transfers + coaching changes + whatever else.

The transferring thing ain't hush-hush anymore like it used to be and neither are college offers so people know where all the studs are at and they can kinda base their rankings off of that.

Good chance ill be at STA vs Dillard tonight...If I go..ill post as much as I can and a write-up.

17-0 STA in the 3rd qtr.

Bruce with a 44yd td in the 1st qtr.

Bruce with a 45yd td in the 3rd.

Just left after the 3rd quarter..

Bruce- manchild. Can't say enough how kids like him are worth multiple wins for you. We can't lose him. We just can't. That last TD was a man child type TD. He went over the middle with a guy draped over his back, threw the guy off only to have another one waiting for him who grabbed him by his helmet. He threw that guy off, reversed field, and headed toward the end zone. But the Dillard guys had an angle on him. So just before he's about to get chased down he takes off from the 5 yard line, does a flip and scores! Lol. Need I say again? We have to hang on to this kid.

Grimes and Irvin- both look the part. They are very impressive looking kids. Irvin will take Herndons place as the H back/ flex TE. I'm excited about him. He looked good.

Grimes didn't get a lot of touched but he looks like a stud.

Samuels jr looked good for his age. Looks tough and gritty like his dad.

STA will need to play better if they are gonna get thru that tough schedule.

Dillard's supposed to be decent this year. Recently, STA performance in this game has had a correlation with their performance for the rest of the season. When they play Dillard close, they have underperformed during their season.

Cooper City came back on Krop. Macho, you still coaching at Cooper City? Any prospects from county line at Krop that look good, or at cooper city? Any kids that can be the next Dowels or the corner that went to UCLA?

Glad to see you'll continue it while Golden's still here, Geo. I'll be happy to do this thread next year if this program gets what it needs. I'll probably still drop some updates once in a while, focusing mainly on the 2017 class since recruiting may be exciting to follow again by that time.

He's not a Miami caliber recruit, but Anthony Rey (Archbishop McCarthy) is one of he best high school players in south Florida.

2014-2015
Total Rushing Yards 1392
Average Rushing Yards 6.0
Carries 233
Rushing Yards Per Game 126.5
Rushing TDs 15

Junior Year Highlights - Anthony Rey highlights

I made a thread already how our 2016 class is not the same wihtout Sam Bruce.

This kid will be a superstar as a freshman for us guaranteed.

He is an elite 5 star play making stud WR. Will be a stud from day 1 as a freshman. He has that "it factor". He is a special talent.

A few more "hood rumor" tidbits..

- Heard that Bennie Sapp Jr torn his ACL. Hope he has a full recovery. So now its all on Asante Samuel Jr and Dontierrye Williams which isn't a bad thing. Because Samuel Jr, is going to be a stud.

- Heard out of Sam Bruce's own mouth..once again the score is.."If they win, im coming.." (He is a solid UM commit. But we have to win. If we have a bad season, he is going to UF)

jkairalla: Miami commit @AhmmonR2 having a night. 5 catches, 202 yards, 3 TDs and a pick on D. Still 9 minutes left in third. #Stud @pbgametime

@Stringfellow911: @UnderwoodSports in keeping with the theme, Tyler Byrd has 2 rec for about 100yds (both tds) and 2 Ints (1 pick 6) at half. #Swag16

Jack Allison had 2 tds in the first half in the blowout win. He was out the game at the end of second qtr and his receivers had some drops as well.
