Canes/CMU Line

You bet with your brain, not your heart. I don't take too much from a blow out over B-C. Sadly, our Canes haven't shown me enough yet to lay my money on them covering 30+ this weekend. I'd take Canes over the +30 if I were forced to bet it, but for me it's a pass.
 
honestly we are improving and we should cover that easily. lets see if the progression continues
 
Didn't this same team lose to Wisconsin by 60+? Our O is good enough to do what Wisconsin did to them. I'd be surprised if this is a 44-14 type of game. Maybe 52-10, but not much closer than that. Remember, Williams has been deadly accurate. We will have scoring drives all day long. Factor in the O starting to gel. I just don't see us winning by less than 30. CMU's two wins were over teams with a combined 1-5 record, with Albany's win coming over Bryant University. Whoever the heck THAT is.

While that is true, I just can't see CMU scoring enough on us to cover the spread. I also can't see them stopping us enough to cover the spread. I ask myself if 28-0 sounds possible, and the answer is simply no. I see us scoring 45+, but I don't see them scoring 14+. I see us scoring closer to 50. That's just me.

If we only win by 28, that means that Manny was a lazy hire, he hired all of his friends as assistant coaches, and our Board of Trustees desperately wants us to lose the game and drop in the US News rankings.

Perhaps. Because if Miami starts out slow on offense, again, then your tout could come to fruition. In other words, other than the opening drive against mighty Florida, Miami has been treading on molasses the opening quarter in the past two games. Nevertheless, I SEE-r Miami covering the point spread. Because Central Michigan is a MAC lower echelon type of team.
