Elder is the best pure CB we have had here since Phillip Buchanon. The shame is that he won't come close to sniffing his potential under these clowns.
 
now I am really getting excited for the season...we back!!!

He's one of the most natural athletes we have on this team. He has better instincts in the return game than any of those other guys - Coley, Berrios and Burns.

Corn Elder had perhaps the most accomplished high school resume of any Hurricane football recruit EVER. He was Mr. HS Football and Mr. HS Basketball in Tennessee his senior year. I wanna say the kid had a total of 4 or 5 total HS state championships (2 in football, either 2 or 3 in basketball). He is al golden's most prized signee IMO.




Of course we only landed him because neither Tennessee nor Alabama would allow him to play both football and basketball. Coach L was critical in landing Corn Elder.

Funny you mention Jennings. I was originally going to post that Elder is the most natural CB since Jennings but the more I thought about it the more I decided to go with since PBuch. No disrespect to Jennings as he had a fine career here and the CB duo of Jennings and Maxey(The Pad) in 2005 is probably the most underrated Miami CB tandem in the modern era.
