Not so much a misquote when D'onofrio & Golden have both used this philosophy openly in years prior and we actually still SEE it on Saturdays. Since year 1 and that dumb fist bump we used to do when teams got into the red zone.. Our coaches have emphasized its not about the yards you give up.. It's still the mentality of the team! And they say what they're coaches are teaching them. Just my opinion..
