Not a great start.. Sosa getting hit hard early.. 2-0 Wake after 1

Canes on the board in the 3rd.. Chester HBP, Eusebio double, Iskenderian RBI single, WP scores Eusebio, FC scores Iskenderian 3-2 Canes.

So nice to have bats this year. Bats with power at that. Now if we could just get the fundamentals of defense down.
 
More trouble for Sosa.. 4-3 Wake lead with bases loaded 1 out B4.. New pitcher is Danny Garcia

Garcia limits the damage by getting a Sac fly and a groundout to end the inning.. 5-3 Wake after 4

I don't understand why we waited so long to pull him. He looked bad from the get go.

He definitely didn't have his best stuff today.. Struggled with command and was behind in counts all day..

Mediavilla in for Garcia and struggled.. Gets one out but Wake scored 2 more.. Briggi in to pitch and gets out of trouble.. Wake leading 7-3 after 6

Canes get one back in the 7th.. Thompson triple and Abreu RBI groundout.. 7-4 Wake after 7

Down 10-4 B8.. Not looking good
