Sosa getting hit hard early. Already 2-0 UNC with one out B1st. A 6-4-3 DP gets Sosa out of the inning. 2-0 UNC after 1.

Our batters are really struggling against their pitcher also. Not looking too good for the good guys. Also, is it me or is this umpire's strike zone seem somewhat inconsistent? Seems a little strange to me.

Sosa continues to work from behind in the count. UNC is just sitting back and waiting on the 2-0 fastball.
 
Sac fly. 3-0 UNC B2nd. RBI single scores another. 4-0 UNC after 2.

Sosa has no control and when he does get it over the plate he has no placement. Just throwing batting practice. How deep a hole will Morris let him dig? Should have been pulled by now.

Beauprez is getting lose in the pen.. I assume he will be out there for the 3rd.

Canes trying to battle back. Ruiz RBI single. 2 on no outs. Sac bunt by Chester. Runners at 2nd and 3rd. 1 out.

RBI groundout from Eusebio. 4-2 UNC. DT walks. Runners on 1st and 3rd Collins up. Collins pops out. 4-2 UNC mid 3rd.

Now Beauprez can't throw strikes. Bases loaded 2 outs B3.

3 straight walks for Beauprez. Walks in a run. 7-2 UNC. Sam Abrams in to pitch.

Bloop single scores 2 more. 9-2 UNC after 3 smh

Canes go 1-2-3 in the 4th. 1-2-3 inning for Abrams. Still 9-2 after 4.

Base hits for Ruiz and Chester. Canes trying to get something going in the 5th. UNC gets out of it. 9-2 mid 5. Heels get another in the 5th. 10-2 after 5.

Sac fly Zack Collins scoring Lopez. 10-3 UNC. T7.

I'd like to see Mediavilla get a shot. He's been very good out of the pen but we need another starter.
