Crazy thing about Rettig is, he'll go play somebody like Virginia and go 17-44 179 yards, 3 ints and lose by 30
100%. He's been comfortable as **** the entire game. He's barely had to make any progression at all.

Key stats:
Total yards: BC 293, Miami 195
Miami yards: 103 rushing, 92 passing.
BC yards: 231 passing, 62 rushing.
First downs: BC 13, Miami 10
Leading rusher: Duke Johnson 3 carries, 65 yards
Leading receiver: Allen Hurns 5 catches for 35 yards.
I guess I don't understand why Miami has not had a sustained pass rush for 7 years now. Is it DL coaching? Poor recruiting?
How sad when your underclassmen out play your upperclassman

I'm very happy, actually. We knew what we had in our upperclassmen. I'd be very sad if our young guys didn't quickly outplay them.
2nd half thoughts:
1) We need to get the ground game going a little more. Let the big guys upfront establish themselves. Balance is what will win this game offensively.
2) Turn up the pressure on d. Its obvious the base pass rush can't get there, so the blitzes need to start. Rettig is way too comfortable in that pocket.
3) Win the line of scrimmages on 1st down.
