Canes 14th in Coaches poll; 12th in AP poll

MAN F' THESE POLLS AND RANKINGS..... MIAMI DOESN'T NEED TO EVEN LOOK AT THE POLLS OR EVEN SPEAK ABOUT IT, keep WINNING.. All Manny needs to do is preach "we are underdogs, f' da polls"

I don't believe in polls after just 2 games. It's a curse to me. One game at a time. BIG 10 is coming in soon. Rankings is a joke.
 
We just need to stay dialed in, clean up our mistakes and rankings will take care of themselves. Recruits are seeing things missing for years from the program and taking notice Hope our guys have already forgotten about yesterday and started film study on fsu. We need to put them down HARD for positioning with in state kids and build momentum going into the Clemson game.

The voters have those teams ranked in the Top 10 mainly on " legitimacy " and past performance. Whereas Miami is coming off a losing season and will have to keep winning and not get MOLESTED by " thirteen points, or more " against mighty U Know Who. huh?

I get it, but it illustrates how silly these rankings are at this time.

Auburn will lose to games then beat two top 10 teams lol
 
Just beat the **** out of FSU and take it one week at a time. Only team on our schedule that is out of our league is Clemson. And absolutely no one is expecting us to beat them so it's a 'let it all hang out' game. Just play loose, aggressive and throw the kitchen sink at those guys. And have fun. Even if we can make it a competitive game, we will be rewarded for it.

But most importantly, destroy FSU's season. I want their guys quitting the team after our game.

having penciled headed leftist sports writers vote is asinine. most of them hate sports and are complaining as to why football is even being played right now.

Isn't that the perfect scenario for the SEC?

It's one step better than their current racket - ranking each other highly so a win / loss can be spun as a positive. Either you beat a highly ranked team and, good lord, you must be great so let's rocket you up the rankings, or you lost to a highly ranked team so we'll just drop you down one spot.
