WHY is BLAKE always taking the easy and comfortable deal

WHY not step-out on our own.

why not

start 24/7 internet network channel
with replays of all sports and interview during the broadcast ...

If people wont go to games because there is sooooo much to do, what makes you think theyre going to sit at home and watch reruns on the internet?

We can't even put 40k into SLS. What makes you think there is a demand for a Miami Hurricanes Network?
 
Because it would take a humongous investment and we're too small of a school to have the sort of fan and alumni base to make the economics work. Even schools with huge fan bases like Michigan or ND would be hard pressed to make a network devoted solely to that school work. Would be cool to see more internet content, though.
 
Longhorn Network hasn't been a financial bonanza. Doubtful ESPN or others will go that route again.

Well, maybe the OP has a few million he would donate to start and operate it for a few years, if not, then forget it.

Just need creative students and proper oversight/cooperation between faculty and athletic departments
