Can we take a second and discuss Malachi Toney?

If the rest of the wr room had his dedication and work ethic our offense would be historic. Also, who is the Malachi Toney of the defense? We need someone on that side of the ball to be a leader and dictate things. If we had someone like him on the defensive side of the ball, I don't think we'd have as many of the issues that we do currently.
Sears will be here

I will wait for our historian, @k9cane to make it official, but I agree. The best.

I'll just put it like this, there is nobody who has done what Malachi has done in his first 24 games of his career -- and someone who was a true freshman(many of our other all-time greats redshirted). His career production already places on most of the top 10-20 career marks for this program.

The way he's trending, he's assured himself of being on every Mt Rushmore possible for a WR/offensive player in Miami history

Should have thrown every single pass to him on the last drive versus Indiana.

I’d rather go down trying to feed a truly generational player than what ended up happening.

Not to mention his freshman year should have been his senior year of high school. THe greats you mentioned who redshirted would be the equivalent of him redshirting this year and starting to play next year as a 19/20 year old

He is to WRs in college what Barry Sanders was to RBs...hes different and special. He has an extra quality you dont see from any player.

And Ive never seen a player at UM who has attracted so many local fans and blue-chippers. His nickname should be 'the Magnet'...

Can he play Nickel?

All of the above is correct and the craziest part is he doesn’t seem remotely satisfied. Kid works his *** off. That type of work ethic is contagious.

Baby Jesus and the great ST 26 both are the greatest canes to ever lace them up with all due respects to The other 20 top contenders who were themselves all time greats. NOBODY wanted part of ST26 and his special teams play was as good as his play at safety. Everyone wanted to be like ST 26. The same can be said for MT1. Everyone wants to play like him and nobody wants part of him. We are witnessing true cane greatness. Appreciate every snap.
