The anointing of Lanning is by far the most egregious. No previous head coach experience. Coached defense at Georgia under an already established scheme and culture. Anyone with a pulse can recruit at Oregon.

Why was he anointed? Because of his pregame speeches? He is a horrible game day coach, always has been. And yes he had brought in talent, but clearly not the right talent. If I am an Oregon fan I am beyond worried. And I want a word with all the Oregon fans that rejoiced when Mario left.

He was annointed after the *** kicking they gave Colorado that first year, any team with a pulse would have done the same

They’re already starting it with Golesh and Sumrall because they’re both 2-0.

Golesh is a really weird fit at Auburn.

His offense has been kind of slow so far, for whatever reason. Maybe they're saving the up-tempo.

I honestly think they hired him because his USF teams played Bama tough a couple of times lol.
