SJ must be a helluva an athlete and a complete outlier because in the entire history of the CFB playoff there hasn't been s single guard who has played in the playoff at 6'1". Parker Brailsford was close at 6'2" and he only played a few games at guard before they moved him inside to center.

Fans better get used to seeing him on the field because he will be getting a lot of snaps. He's viewed as one of the top guys in that room for a reason. SJ played a lot last year, and will play even more this year

He ain’t starting on the o line it’s simply not happening at anything besides center (*barring no catastrophic injuries*)

Yes he will get snaps in short yardage situations at full back & extra O line sets. But he is not starting at the university of miami at guard at 5’10

For interior linemen, I'm generally not that worried about height. Staying low is very important for those guys. Obviously a taller guy can do that (eg apparently Congdon), but it's way easier for a 6'0 guy.

OTs on the other hand, reach is too important. Need 6'5+ guys, preferably with long arms.
