Hey, first of all it's a W against one of our big arrivals.

I will take it. Go CANES.

Manolo, if he survives should pony up serious money to a DC.

But........The lack of D ends, and Linebackers..... Can a new DC make up that gap next year?

Probably not.

We have a stud QB. Rambo is money. Tight End solid. Rooster good, but not a powerback.

Secondary improving, but does flatten out on key downs.

The answer?

The answer? The answer is Manny‘s going to get fired at the end of the season and we will have a new coach and a new defensive coordinator. Other than that I got nothing else for you

Sac State just went 8-0 in conference. 9-2 overall. Played Cal.

Just beat UCD like a rented mule at Davis.

Go Hornets. My Alma.

Winning is a **** of a drug. Especially at your biggest rivals house.

I think we’re f**ked on defense next year. I’m assuming we’ll have a better DC, but we won’t have the players to be very good. That said, we don’t have to be that much better if we can score 30+ per game like we’ve been doing. So hopefully the little bit a better DC can wring from the guys we’ve got will eliminate at least some of the nonsense losses. ****, a little better D this year would have us headed for an ACCCG loss and then a stomping by some mid level sec/b1g team. Which is probably better than no ACCCG and a close loss northwestern or whatever we get this year.

What the heck do you mean if Manolo survives? Have you not been paying attention? The guy has been a lame duck since the Michigan State game.

In terms of the defense. Assuming we hire the type of HC we think we are going to hire then it is safe to say that we will be getting a real defensive coordinator not settling for some goofy fan boy locker jockey with a laughably unsound gimmick for a defense.

Once our new stud DC is in place he will begin by teaching our players really cool stuff like gap integrity, fundamentals, attention to detail, how to tackle and all sorts of ill ****. In addition to that we are going to have to hope the new staff can land some impact DL, LB and CBs in this class then supplement that through the portal.

Diaz is not tough enough to bring Miami back.
I get it.

Even into the fourth quarter of a Sac State versus UCD game the offensive line coach absolutely f****** lit up our line for not holding it down to convert

Even at this level he was absolutely heated and you could hear it through the side of our stadium as he was swearing at The players. Passion.
