Perhaps, the pop-ups need too come on after one logs in. That way, it recognizes the user and the preference re notifications. Better yet, this should be in the settings where one can turn it off.

You need to notify the proper authorities, so they can notify the higher uppers who in turn, will thence notify you, and tell you the notifications will end notifying you.....

if you sign up it will send you a notification about the end of notifications. but you must agree to get notified about not getting any more notifications
