Not trying to turn this into an appreciation thread about an opposing team's QB, but assuming Tate wins the job, I think this is a realistic ceiling/best case scenario. Their measurables and skillset are quite similar, and while McSorley won 31 of his 40 starts at Penn State, he was a career 59% passer and only finished above 60% once in 3 years. For reference, Rosier was 54% in 2017.
Linked some highlights below, but Joe Moorhead/whoever they had last year put him in low risk spots where he could distribute the football to skill guys that, outside of Saquan Barkley, are inferior to the skill players Martell will be working with. Granted, having an average to decent OL helps, but I do think the template is there for him to succeed.
