Thurston Armbrister is listed as a senior. However he participated on the scout team his freshman year and didn't play a snap. Why can't he play next year?

He played. Why is it so hard to grasp that they wasted a season with him?

How did they waste a season? He is a true senior. He still has a redshirt year available if he so desires. He could stay and play next year as a RS Senior. What some fans don't ever seem to realize is that not all kids want to stay in school for five or even six years. If he gets a draft advisory this year, and I think he can since he has another year of eligibility left, and they tell him the could go in the top three or four rounds, or even that he would go lower but be drafted, perhaps he may desire to go take his chances. Most of these kids dream all their lives of playing in the NFL and not all of them are willing to put that dream off to satisfy fans who post on message boards.

Most students who have to do anything approaching WORK, like all the effort players must put forth, or earning money, are eager to get done and out of school. If your mommy is footing all the bills and you spend your day sleeping off the night before, well then college will probably be the best years of your life. But if you live in real world while in college, most want to get going.

Here he is playing against BC in 2011

Please tell me you're not retarded enough to think a senior who has used 4 years of eligibility can come back and play a 5th year as a RS senior. Please tell me.

Lol, yea he developed nicely. But unfortunately, he will be gone after this season. I think Grace will step in an become that next guy though. Hopefully he will have a good weight gain as well.

He played in the first 2 games. I know his profile says he didn't play at all, but if you look at the game stats for participants, then you will find his name wearing #1 for the 1st two games but not any more.

The question would be: did he get a medical red shirt for that year? Apparently not, and thus this would be his 4th and final year of participating.
