cam ward won us the game offensively

Cam, was ****ing me off but, never lost faith in him-

He showed his true character in the second half-

He used his wheels to carry us along with some uncanny escapability-

It was truly a signature moment of his career kind of like Vinny Testaverde’s scramble against Oklahoma many years ago.

facts ... i always felt like if he just settled down and took what the defense gave him we'd be fine ... we just can't give the other team life along the way

Ward left a lot of points on the field. As just one example, his second INT throwing to X was an easy 6 if he throws it to a wide open George behind X and the D. The overthrow on the TE screen. Several others but my head is still spinning from that finish. I’m glad he didn’t fold like our former QBS have for decades. Tonight was the first time I have seen him shook though during the 2nd qtr. He wasn’t seeing guys open and his passes were erratic. I just kept saying please lord just let us get to halftime. We desperately need Rivers back to help shore up that O-Line!

facts ... our running plays are bland af right now
When Miami made a commitment to running the rock, yards were gained. Cam also took advantage of some easy runs as well. You don't run for **** near 100 yards in a quarter without the run game putting in work. Our fanbase jerks themselves off about "Creativity in the run game", forgetting that it doesn't take a ton of creativity to create a hole and have a back run through it.

in fairness ... if we give tells for majority of our run plays, we need to change our run plays ... that being said, you are correct, we got more assertive on the ground
