Levis hasn't been good by just about any definition but he wasn't the #4 overall pick, Richardson is the much bigger whiff

Josh Allen got super lucky with good AND consistent coaching. Not saying he doesn’t deserve his own flowers but where you get drafted is so important. I don’t think he would have done as well in Denver.

The highlighted part (with my addition solely for clarification) cannot be stated enough. Certain teams are simply far better run than others. Getting drafted by the Browns is almost guaranteed to be a bust at QB. Being drafted by the Packers, Chiefs, Niners, et al provides a much higher chance for success.

“Great. Is he accurate? Can he actually play QB?”

“No, but never mind that.”

“Ok, let’s take him.”

The coaches and GM adpated heavily after this first year getting away from slower bigger possesion bodies (kelvin Benjam) and moving to quicker Wrs who get open in space. Dude also works his *** off

As a Bills fan Allen was terrifying as a rookie. Because you could see the athletic ability and just are you kidding me plays. But he was a bad qb...Palmer and Daboll earned their money there.
