FLorida has 3/4 of their Dline misssing and another defensive starter.

The excuses I heard when we had Bain and Brown injured last year, when we get them back we will be good (we weren't). They had 4 so double.

The “plan B” when teams play that 2-high safety shell is to pound the rock. But you guys all complain when we run the ball. Just accept that we’re not always going to win games pretty. And that’s okay. The spread on this game was 7.5. We won by 19 and it should have been way more.

We look like the Michigan team that won the national championship game 2 years ago. Sounds good to me.

Weren’t you the dude that said Beck had more talent in his pinkie than Craig Erickson had in his body?

Not knocking Beck, he had a bad night, but Craig’s 89 Natty Ring, sends its regards.
 
Film and tendencies are out that’s normal. Dude ain’t Cam he’s not going for 300 yards every game. He’s like an elite college game manager, which are hard to find.

Beck is not Ward, true. And he didn't play his best game tonight, missing a few throws he won't usually miss. I don't think Dawson had his best game tonight either. But it's hard to argue with the overall gameplan and execution over the full four quarters. It would've been nice if we capitalized on a couple chances in the first half to put it away, or if the refs didn't inexplicably take away a TD for a phantom forward progress. The game would've been / felt very different. But we knew over the course of four quarters that we'd be able to lean on them offensively while also holding up defensively. (We gave up less 150 yards. Even losing the turnover battle doesn't matter when they can't move the ball outside of a single drive.) Dawson and Beck will both be better in other games. This was a subpar performance that still ended up being kind of dominant. I'll take it.

how many td's did cam throw against FSU last year? this game was a carbon copy of that game

Relax LSU did the same thing last week but even worse and they are the #3 team in the country.

UF decided they would die by 1000 paper cuts rather than a consistent barrage of nukes.

Fine; we will run the ball 15 times eat 9 minutes and score a TD. Then stuff you on defense.

I'm guessing the Florida staff realized if they played 1 high the only chance to disrupt the pass game was to bring extra guys leaving the corners on an island.

I think Dawson could have done some different things in the pass game (was happy to see Dawson get Lofton involved) that didn't include horizontal throws into the boundary
