*Edit- I just saw @Rellyrell ‘s Rutgers postI’d imagine similarly to Jeremiah Smith at Ohio State with an Adidas deal or Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey at Rutgers with Nike deals![]()

he’s had awful QB play which hasn’t picked up his recognition. Kinda like Pickens when he was at jawja didn’t play in a WR friendly offense… he know is and he’s showing he’s one of the best WRs in the league nowHe’s closer to jj than most people think imo. Jj character make up is probably what pushes him over the top. But just talent and skills? Its like julio and aj green
I think thats my comp for him too..he hasn’t shown loser tendencies like Pickens tho from what i have seenhe’s had awful QB play which hasn’t picked up his recognition. Do you know whether contractually the athlete can be penalized if he were to transfer to an Adidas school (clawback NIL paid out already) or would they just void the contract?
Depends on what the budget is. We may be at or close to the point where Mario just has to make a call and it is done.Do we really want to spend $2.5m+ on a receiver when we have a bunch of needs to fill elsewhere?
Dang, welcome back bro!I got him out the portal on NCAA CFB26.. could be a sign.
If Miami is willing to go after the best players in the portal then they better be ready to find a way to cut ties with adidas asap.I’m going to assume either the admin don’t know or they thought a bag would suffice.
I wouldn’t spend what he wants . You can get two good wr’s for that. This is a talent but it’s up to the staff
We can get either Rutgers WR, and two starting LB for that money.I wouldn’t spend what he wants . You can get two good wr’s for that.
I love Marsh. We can get either Rutgers WR, and two starting LB for that money.
I still like all those names I listed in the WR1 thread.
Coleman too expensive.
Marsh is cheaper and honestly 98% the same wr. So obviously go for him over Coleman if we wanna spend big.
I think either Rutgers or Clemson WR would be cheaper than those 2 at least. And any of these 4 would be my primary target.
After them you have the mid-high end of Jayce Brown and Omarion Miller.
The maybe a bit lower end you have McMillan from Buffalo, He sticks from Ohio, Singleton from USF…
And there are likely a bunch more not super proven talented guys as well.
But I think we want a senior outside deep threat. I don’t think it needs to be like a 6’3” guy. Height/weight wasn’t what I’m concerned with as much as being a proven deep threat
We don't have any "young talent" anywhere close to Coleman. Toney for sure, but he's a completely different type of receiver. Moore and Upshaw did look good for freshman, but again, nowhere near Coleman's level. Trader...nah. We should be about done with that experiment. Won't see the field next year.He isn't worth this kind of money, particularly. We have young talent. Their are other veteran's that will have his production for much less. Are those Texas schools all Nike schools? They can pay over $2 million for him. I am back to Nick Marsh.

He loses his contract.Do you know whether contractually the athlete can be penalized if he were to transfer to an Adidas school (clawback NIL paid out already) or would they just void the contract?
