Calm down people...

Duke wasn't ranked when we beat them, *******

So if the teams we've beat that were ranked but fell out don't count, you're telling me the unranked teams we beat and climb in don't count either?

Nobody is saying they are ecstatic with the season but we're happy that the team is improving and playing solid football. The team could very well be turning the corner.

Last year we went into FSU 7-0 but playing bad football with a QB who was struggling. I have more faith in this year's team. (It also helps that we aren't playing last year's FSU team.

The 'Canes have officially passed the 'look' test for the first time since 2009. And if they progress enough to beat FSU, I would be hard pressed to name 15 teams that are better than out boys. And if they win out and continue to build on the new and improved defense, I'd go so far as to say Coach D earned one more recruiting cycle and season to show me what can be done [i was calling for D's head before VT]

I didn't say anything about it not counting if we beat them unranked and finished ranked, it just has happened yet. Unlike the other scenario.

If duke finishes the season ranked, then yes, congrats to Al, he finally did it.

A coach's job during the off-season is to evaluate what he has and get his guys ready for the upcoming season. Not to 'figure it out' along the way during the season after several losses. I'm certainly happy we kicked UNC's ***, but ripping off three straight wins doesn't mean anything.

As I said in another thread. If we win out and upset an undefeated FSU in a year after they won the title, we are still only 9-3. If Duke also wins out (better probability), then they are 11-1 and go to the ACC title game. In the world of college football, winning a game doesn't mean nearly as much as losing one. And we already have three under our belt.

He beats FSU for the first time in his tenure and suddenly he is forgiven for all the wrong hes done to the program? This is exactly why the program is where it is today. COMPLACENCY.

Yeah pretty much. Beat Fsu combined with the fact that it looks likes he's figuring out how to beat terrible acc teams. It's not complacency, it's a sign that he actually might be improving as a coach.

Having said all that though, no ******* chance we beat Fsu next week, i haven't forgot how bad foldens been. Hope I'm wrong.

We can't go back and win those 3 games that we lost. You could've quit watching for the past month if that's your perspective.
