Playing at Miami didn't make him drop 32 passes right in his hands. He's successful now in an offense that the D has to completely sellout against the run when facing because their passing game sucks.
 
Big game for him...but man, y'all need to stop with this "I told you so" nonsense with this guy...he's basically the same guy he was here.

He was a three catch type guy on Miami as a junior and now has emerged as like a 4 catch guy as a senior. Even with today's game, he's not a breakout candidate. Still doesn't have a 20% marketshare of the pass offense (although, he's very close).

He would have likely put up the same WR2/WR3 type of numbers in our offense, with maybe a bit of an inflation from having a legitimately good and accurate QB throwing him the ball. We're not talking about some guy that was hidden deep on our roster...he's basically the same guy.

FWIW, last year, he was our WR2 with sub-20% marketshare of yards and 30% marketshare of TDs. Right now, he's a sub-20% marketshare in yards and 30% marketshare of TDs. Legit...same dude.

Pickens isnt better than Cager.

Also his td today was a plain old blown coverage. Sh*t went for 50+

He's doing what he likely would do here. He had games here that he played well in as well

Maybe you should check those stats. And the fact that he's a true Freshman not 21-22 or whatever Cager is by now. If you would take Cager over Pickens than put down the hard bro

Check what stats. Their stats are identical.

Cager's their best wr.....dont care if he was a true freshman or a sr citizen. We recruited George Pickens im fully aware of how he is as a player. Wr is the easiest positin to play as a true freshman..age doesnt really matter at all.

He dropped far fewer passes than one would think reading this board the last several years. He's apparently healthy, something that was an issue before this year.

We recruited George Pickens is funny for starters, but Pickens actually has more catches & yards than Cager. As a Freshman. Meaning he's going to get significantly better, while Cager is at the end of his college career. Dismissing that to try to stretch your point doesn't make it right.
