Cager got a lot of playing time and opportunity since he's been here. Thus far his best year was this one with 20 catches, about 15 drops, and 6 touchdowns. He had a couple good games, but for all the opportunity, he hasn't done much.

If this is his best, we might as well try and add Haselwood, Dunmore, etc. to Payton and let all the young wr (and their potential upside) take their lumps.

People did the same thing to players during Coker, Shannon and Golden. I get you do not like the performance on the field...no one would. But if these WRs or OL played for a real coach with a real offense would they be so bad...?

Let me see how they perform for decent coaches before I throw them in the trash.

I'm not going to comment on the locker room rumors because I don't know the real story. I will say that a 6'5" guy who has to catch the ball with his body might as well be 5'5". I thought he had potential to be really great but it's been mostly a disappointment.
