cager

I'd love to see a lot more 4 and 5 wide sets. We shouldn't need injuries to force us into that with all the game-breaking talent at WR.

Before all the Bo Shytbagler 1970s "you can't win without a FB and TE on the field" facquits jump in here clowning the spread, I'm not advocating Air Raid all game. Be diverse.

Agreed.

I like the idea of a 3 WR, 1 RB, and 1 TE being our base. However, 4-5 WR sets would be a good thing to show. Maybe it will allow Per...I mean the starting QB...to get rid of it a little quicker, thus not putting so much pressure on the OL.

Cager is probably better than Richards right now but yall gon be mad if i say that out loud

Disagree, but upped for the strong take that you knew would be disagreed with. I am assuming you truly believe what you say...

As true freshmen:

Cager: 8 rec, 70 yards, 1 TD

Richards: 49 rec, 934 yards, 3 TD

Only a slight difference. Perhaps Krazy is onto something here.

Comparing those numbers really don't mean much either way. Richards would've had comparable numbers if you switched him and Cager

Cager struggled to get on the field as the 2015 wore on. Doesn't exactly lend credence to the argument that he's a superlative talent waiting to break out.

. Look at who he had to battle for reps compared to what Richards did though. I'm not saying one is better either way. I don't think it's fair to compare Frosh. seasons because they way two totally different situations and teams.

Richards is a great deep ball threat but he needs to show he is more than that this season. He's got a world of potential but I'd love to see him come alive in the red one and put up a few more touchdowns. He had 3 Tds last year. 1 screen and two long catch and runs on hitch patterns.

I like multiple sets to create headaches for the defense and formations geared to attack the weaknesses. We also need to speed up the pace and make 3rd down calls without taking a timeout. We have the personnel and have to let more guys eat.
