I’m here to eat crow. Lawrence Cager has been a pleasant surprise to me.

I wasn’t too high on the kid I thought his hands weren’t good and he struggles to get open a bit. I thought Hightower, Pope, or Wiggins would have taken of his spot on the depth chart and that he’d be our number 4 WR.

I believed our freshman were going to be better. If he keeps up this TD pace he may actually be the guy to leave early for the draft. I don’t think he’s a kid whose stock would get much higher for his senior year.

Good surprise tho

And he should score a lot more.

The secondaries we will be going up against the next few weeks are absolutely woeful and undersized.

He's given the most chances in the redzone. Don't get me wrong im cheering for all canes but last week against unc n again today missing that jump ball is frustrating.

Got to work on the drops but I’m glad he has made some plays this year

I am glad he getting in the end zone but I said he wouldn’t play himself into the draft this season and would be back next year. I’ll hold off on the crow

Loudly, also the leader in drops.

He could be leading the nation in TDs if he tightens up, and maybe even leave this year and get drafted.

He's 6'5" and has some talent.

If you throw it up to him over and over, he's bound to bring it down on a 6'0" corner.

With that said, my god the dude high points balls like trash. Extend your arms, man.

Need to get Mark Duper out here to work on his hands and then he could become elite. Catches the ball with his body way too much for someone with his height and arm length

Crazy that no one has produced anywhere near Leonard Hankerson's senior year. AR had that freshman year but it was low on TD's; remember Hank had nearly 1,200 yards and 13 TDs.

Hankerson is now the WR coach at UMass with Mark Whipple

Seems he can’t catch anything without his body. I feel like Hightower should be getting more of these opportunities that are going to Cager

Our freshmen impress me but Cager is a great WR . he does need to stay focused on his hands but to be fair alot of time he drops balls it is on the D getting up in him. Like he the ball he dropped before he caught that 2nd TD was great D . It still counts as a drop but it aint like he is just flat out dropping wide open balls . Cager is our #2 guy. Thomas is #1 by a freaking mile and with perry Harley will be #3 IMO . Wiggins and Langham also have shown signs of playing well too. Hightower is a complete stud just hasn't had a chance.

Probably the drops leader too.

I like the kid, but come on now.

Hank was the ****. Shame his hands just weren't the same in the league. I thought his move to the falcons would be a career saver but guy just couldn't catch the ball reliably any more.

The guy needs to be on the jugs machine seven days a week. He drops way too many passes, the third td drop was so frustrating.

His drops were in horrible spots too. 3 catches and 3 drops is not good...

I’m gonna disagree with OP, as my stance is basically the exact opposite. I picked him as breakout player of the year. I’m just not seeing anything froM him.

Bad hands, doesn’t high point the ball. Jeff Thomas highpoints better. Cagers reps need to start going to Hightower.

He isn’t terrible and certainly has a role, but I think Hightower is the guy going forward.
