Cager OPI penalty

Why is everybody ripping OP?!? He never said it was ok it came down to that. Obviously it wasn't; we should lay waste to Duke. But the thread was about whether that was the right call. And I agree with him it was a questionable call to make at that moment in time. Of course, it wasn't even a needed push off by Cager, but unfortunately he has proven to be a Randy Moss build who plays like Spud Webb.

bc OP is a known insufferable Rick slurper, and is trying to distract from the issue at hand which is we have an awful coaching staff and HC.

Ok, fair enough. But it's ok to have threads talking about other sh-t than just making 100% of all threads be a staff bashing fest. The staff fully deserves the bashing, but the fact every single thread turns to the same discussion is exhausting.
 
He pushed off for sure. Dumb mistake though as he didn’t even need to do it

You arent supporting the program if you support Richt. You are doing the opposite actually.

Thought that at first but when you look at the defender’s back it seemed like it came forward and down. That’s hard to fake when his momentum is the opposite way and he’s moving the opposite way (I.e. backward toward the sideline).
 
The dude looks so odd when he sets up for a catch. Or maybe everything about this team irritates me

Agreed. All he had to do was jump and catch the **** ball. Nothing spectacular or special. The refs not calling PI on Puke or the face mask on JT was horrible tho
 
Cager been pushing off guys all year just got caught this time. Seen him do it early in the game as well, just go lucky was not called. Guy has no idea how to use his size. Another 4 star that didn't leave up to his potential like most Miami players. After awhile you got to wonder if the staff can get any players to live up to their potential or go above it. Only player I can think of who has is Michael Jackson. Most fans thought he was a bust after his sophomore year.

Let me help you, Eeee Heeee #28 is right, dont forget #22 redwine, we also got to put jaquan johnson in there, gerald willis, bandy, joe jackson, garvin, pat bethel, deejay dallas, homer, jt4, brevin, Ahmon, njoku, walton, all those guys are ballin at a high level under this staff. Nobody was balling at the level they are/were at now until coach richt and company got here.

Dumb *** penalties that contributed to yet another loss. Why are Canes so undisciplined at this stage of the season? Combined with the fumbles they will see just how they lost this game when they look at the film....sad.
 
I love Cage but I thought it was an OPI also, just sucks to have that call in that situation and they weren't very consistent that game. He needs to keep an arm bar/chicken wing to keep some separation rather than the full extension with the arms.
