Caden Curry and Kenyatta Jackson

I wonder where old Cardale Jones is this evening and all that B.S. he spews about “development” because from where I’m sitting it looks like if you wanna be developed you come to The U. Maybe if this was 10 years ago he’d have an argument but my oh my how times have changed.

I coached directly against Kenyatta in hs and my OL did a good job on him and my guys are at New Mexico and Georgia State right now. Hes a solid player but saw OSU fans posting that are ol havenet faced guys like Kenyata and Curry and was mystified because what we see in practice.

Samson destroyed their guys tonight
Our center played better than I expected.
Samson after the initial pff scoring is 2nd highest graded player after cici.

Only Bell graded poorly cause he got beat by Kenyata Jackson a few times and let up 4 pressures

Downs was ttheir best and McDonald was second. The LB’s look like Tarzan but they play more like Jane.
Almost all the pad popping was done by our defense.

The LB with the best play of the game was Wes, hands down. Maybe he should be the first rounder?

On the edges, Miami native Kenyatta Jackson (#97) and Camden Curry (#92) lead the position. Curry being the more productive of the two as he has had double digit sacks on the season. On flim, I don't see anything special with either of them. Solid players that play hard. Curry has impressive power in his hands and a strong motor but I don't see elite athleticism or bend with him or Jackson.

I like our OL vs their DL but I really love the matchup of our tackles versus their edges. Curry won't be able to bully Cici and Jackson is nothing special.

…got absolutely erased. They had Curry start off against Francis and I was watching that match-up a lot and Caden looked like some random back-up. They eventually moved Curry to the other side lol. Kenyatta was even less effective. I barely remember either of their names being called throughout the entire game. Reese made a few plays but otherwise seemed neutralized relative to his season. Amazing performance by the offensive line.

Curry and Kenyatta are the bigger, power type of ends and it seems Francis and Bell handle those kind of players quite well. I would have thought they’d have Reese try to attack either of those guys much more.
As a matter a fact, Beck gave Jackson that first half sack.
