Cade Weldon = Alex Moran

I loved that show

Wish they wouldn’t have cancelled it

Read up on the writer Chris Romano’s (Sammy the mascot) life...actually pretty crazy story. He grew up under fbi witness protection. That’s not his real name.

but that is a nice t-shirt he's wearing . Respect to him for wearing that bandana of old glory too.

Go cards. God bless the U.S. of A.

This is just my opinion...

But, the only reason why Cade was ever on this team is because his Dad Casey is close with Mark & felt it would be best to send him to the good Pastor hoping it would help him mature.

He was a turnover prone average QB in High school & I just question if he has enough talent or the mentality to ever be a starter at program like Miami.

Physically dude has all the makings of an all American. But it is upstairs in his head where he seems to fail miserably.
He is the anti-Ken Dorsey.

My money is certainly not on Weldon to be the starter, however the Richts could turn Tom Brady into Rick Mirer.

I think he has the physical tools to be an ACC starting QB, let’s see what Enos can.... with all of our guys for that matter

Cade Weldon was coached by his uncle Jon Richt for his whole life. **** why did we take him that was the most obvious red flag.

Nobody here remembers Rick Mirer. I remember when recruiting guru the Magnificent Max Emfinger told me Mirer and Brian Fortay were "peas in a pod."

I'm not a fan of Cade Weldon's game in general. Even if he was on the straight and narrow, he has too much of a gunslinger's mentality for a dude with a below average arm. You can tell how he's been coached to use his entire body to put extra oomph on the ball but ideally, you want a guy who can fling it with just his arm if he has to. Watch Weldon's highlight tapes from high school. Any time he has to really spin it, he torques his whole body. He was already turnover prone in high school, he's an interception waiting to happen in college.
