U do realize when Brady when down, 7th round pick Matt Cassel went 11-5 on the season, correct? U also realize that KC w/o Mahomes is 11-8, don’t u?

Are the products the same w/o these 1st ballot HOF QBs? No, but good coaches still win. Didn’t The Eagles win a SB when their starting QB go down as journeyman Nick Foles led them? Didn’t The Giants win a SB w/ Hostetler after they were cruising w/ Phil Simms in 1990 after Simms broke his foot late in the season?

Williams: do u remember what was said about Emory? This was an EVALUATION recruitment & they were quite fine w/ him being the only QB in the class of 2023.

Poffenbarger: do u remember what was said about Reese? This was an EVALUATION portal pick up; big time FCS QB that could easily be QB1 to start the season

Anderson: do u remember what was said about Judd? This was an EVALUATION high school w/ big time upside. Can make all the throws and an athlete.

So don’t insult ur intelligence. The only way I would accept a collapse of a season is if Bain, Ward, Martinez, X, George, Mauigoa, Mauigoa, Rivers, all got injured in the season.

ok name me who bama lost to in year 1 and then name me what opposition on the recruiting trail he faced at that time. There wasnt no Kirby or anyone else to even challenge dude, not even Urban was close to Saban in terms of bags. Saban was on another planet in creative mode doing whatever he wanted.

I mean yea it wont fly for you RVA but for me it depends thats all I am saying. I do agree you have your own criteria but not me and thats ok bruh. And Emory is cheeks so is the Clemson QB, super overrated and he holding CU back but Dabo picked him so thats on him. Emory (IMO that is) was recruited to never play but to be a depth piece that wont transfer. You have to get some qbs that are projects that wont leave especially with the transfer portal. If u stacking 5 star qbs those bags better be bananas cause to get them to sit and wait would be a miracle in itself.

I know Cassel did well but what happened when dude didnt have Brady as a whole, they died and are still dead. The Browns he was average asf to there. A QB like that will turn u into a legend. And sometimes it does happen where some NPC at QB performs and it works but thats a roll of the dice. U right about the Emory thing but who knows we not sitting in the office, he could of been a depth piece.....I think they got fooled by TVD thinking he was him (alot of us were fooled)

I thought Poff was legit but it looks like he needs work as well, they suck at evaluating qbs but most teams suck at that (pause) I think they will use the portal from now on at that position IMO.

And I died laughing at the bold that **** made me weak asf lol.

Exactly, this team has enough depth throughout the majority of the positions that it would take multiple high impact guys out at the same time to justify anything under 10 wins.

Even with all those guys you listed out simultaneously there’s enough depth and talent throughout the rest of the team to win atleast 8-9. The only exception is the DB room but with the constant glowing reviews we keep hearing on OJ and Day even that excuse is fading.

Mad random reply im about to say....I was listening to the radio today or it was YT not sure. They said Brock Bowers on the Raiders just has it the speed is the same as college with him. Thats the best way to explain things when it comes to players. When u see guys arrive from HS to college or college to the NFL, if they blend in with the others thats not a good sign. When they dont blend in and pop off the film means the speed was legit and probably got something there. Poff in limited time it looked too fast for him, pause.

But QB u never know cause it aint about arm strength or sometimes even accuracy, the most important thing is if u see the field fast then those other abilities can come into play. Can you read see and deliver fast but vision is the most important thing IMO. If u cant see it then you probably screwed like Zach Wilson who cant see ****.

I prefer an accurate QB. Steve Walsh was my favorite Canes QB. The accuracy was deadly.

But Ward and Emory should be good enough for 10 wins this year regardless.

I see where you are going. Year 1 Saban (7)still won more games than (5)Mario even with that loss. Mario lost to MTSU and followed that season up with a loss to Rutgers. People keep pointing to that loss in year 1 for Saban as if he he didn't have a winning record with losers.

He was going up against several coaches to win a ring. Plus perennial strong teams line UGA (CMR) ect. SEC wasn't a bunch of bums. The teams he faced had bags upon bags upon bags for sometime.

agree with u on Ward but disagree on Emory unless he made a huge jump but we wont know cause im assuming he wont play.

u bring up good points bruh I wont front but Saban as an evaluator was leaps above everyone with no challenge. Its harder now thats why that dude retired, he made some mini saban lites and gtfo as soon as he could. Its way more competitive now
