Is the allege victim a student at BYU? I wonder if the rape accusation stems from breaking the honor code. I hope not.
 
I’m not saying the young lady in this case did what I am about to write, but it’s’ known to be an issue among Mormons.

A very close friend of mine from Atlanta whose son played for Utah State was told by a local police officer in Utah to warn his son about having *** with Mormon girls because pre-marital *** was cause for ex communication from the church, UNLESS, the girl claims that she was raped.

It’s even worse if the guy she sleeps with is Black. LDS has not nor will ever be friendly to people that look like me and that is evident in how they view interracial dating. Honestly, unless you are LDS yourself, just stay away from those women.

The first time I heard about that, I couldn't stop laughing. I thought my (now) formerly LDS friend was joking, she was dead serious. She was like "Yep, as long as the dude doesn't thrust, it doesn't count". We all waited for the punchline. It never came, literally and figuratively.

Yep. The player in question is black, and it was a black police officer who pulled over my buddy driving to a game. Instead of writing a ticket, he gave my buddy that advice to pass on to his son. And said exactly what you wrote.

This was what I was alluding to and I'm glad you explained further and, likewise, I am not accusing the young lady in this case of making false accusations nor am I presuming anything on Retzlaff.

Hopefully, this damages BYU in the public light, and makes it more difficult for them to recruit, etc.

They have a lot of ******* money, and are spending it. Just look what they are doing in hoops! Team is LOADED.

You know the Mormon Church owns more land in Florida than ANY non governmental entity.
 
Same thing happened to one of their RBs back in the day. He and his girlfriend had ***, weren't morons and he got kicked from the team.
It made national news.

That place will ALWAYS be weird, and some people will be willing to overlook it if the money is right. Nothing has changed, and honestly, if an athlete is important enough, they will look the other way. Let's be honest, if homegirl hadn't sued him and he had not been forced to participate in a deposition, he would have skated on this. Had he merely denied sexual contact with the woman, he would have been fine. It was the fact that he admitted to premarital ***, on the record that forced BYU to do something.

Nah, just nah. I could do without an accused *** pest around the Miami program. Let Nickel learn as the #2, you need to see what he is sooner than later. Hopefully he isn't forced into being the starter in significant time as a true freshman, but him sitting on the bench behind Emory isn't helping anyone either. If he flashes in practice, if he is solid in garbage time, that may be the push Emory needs in order to seek opportunities elsewhere.
