So UM expects to sign five, and you think they only sign 4? I have a hard time believing that they would cut Jones lose if they didn't feel comfortable with who would commit to them. They could have easily force Jones out of the program after spring ball.

Not sure how much they sign - I just know it's a real uphill battle to sign more than 1 of the guys 407 mentioned. Letting Jones may or may not be related. Maybe he graduated, wasn't a meaningful player so Richt let him go and he just so happens to be a WR. There might not be any correlation.

Agreed. Wims just picked UGA and Davis looks like USCe.

I think Richards is coming but Harmon seems NC state bound

Coley is gone next year and Langham albeit has time.. Doesn't seem to be in the fold.

Very outside shot at Simmons and Harmon but we need one of those two and then another or 3-4 more next year imo

if I was him I would scout a pass happy offense and try to get on....

Dmauri would get pt at an FIU or mid major type program....
 
DMauri and Gray Crow are proof that Golden didn't know what the **** he was doing.
 
LOLOL amazing how the excuse making for marginal prospects is the same every cycle. The same type stuff is being said on the recruiting board right now about 2 commits who are not Miami-level. It's an amazing study in fan behavior.

Why is it "weird" to push out a WR who can't play at this level? You don't have to trade WR for WR. They can push him out and sign an extra DB.

I actually had high hopes for D'Mauri. Really liked his HS tape, thought he was a good player. Good size, ran well, etc...

I don't get how people can say he "sucked" or that he was "dead weight"...the guy maybe played 20 snaps while he was here? Almost none of them meaningful.

Plus, if there is anything we learned from the last coaching staff it's that they wasted talent (what I would do to see Tyriq McCord get a year with the new DL coach).

Anyway, I hope he gets a shot to play somewhere. Seems like a good kid. Wish him the best.

How is it proof? D'Mauri never played..and Golden was the coach who never played him. So you may actually be right. For all we know he has talent and Golden should have played him. But no way to tell until someone gives the kid a shot.

If he got significant playing time and was terrible then I would agree, but we haven't seen anything from him..
 
Sissies in here acting like Jones earned a Purple Heart for combat heroism. He leeched off UM for 6 years. Ate our steaks, lived for free, got a free education. In return, UM got 1 more catch than you gave them.

UM was the grumbling, cursing Chinese buffet owner in this relationship, and Jones was the 600 pound black woman sending her 4 year old daughter to the buffet line to fetch her 30th plate of short ribs and fried rice. UM was like, "When he graduate? He be here for 9 year already! He eat everything!".
