Two things can be concurrently true. Miami shouldn’t be giving away tickets like a 2 dollar *****. It also shouldn’t be selling upper deck seats at $125 a pop after a losing season stacked on two decades of meh because it’s also penny wise pound foolish.

You’re making less money even though avg ticket price is higher per person

when the secondary market is valuing your product at half your price you have not priced smartly, even if you got the initial sale.

For anyone concerned about spending too much, ticket prices on secondary markets have plummeted. You can now get lower bowl endzone seats on stubhub for $40

I remember when the Heat were struggling and they had promotion for lower bowl at alonzo mourning jersey number $33.
 
Welp guys, I ****ed up. My girl got all ****y on why I do things last minute so I bought tickets last night for $100 dollars in section 133. Looked up ticket prices this morning and I could’ve saved another $90 dollars or gotten Home sideline seats for that price. Now she’s making me a sandwhich and stated she will pay for my beer the whole game.

Talked to my buddy about 15 min ago that works with the ticketing service and the third party Miami used to price these gameday tickets is absolutely atrocious. He wants to fire them lol, but if only it were his choice.

Tons of negative backlash should alleviate the incompetency…hopefully.

You mean the ticket office and their partners aren’t playing 4D economic chess and actually just plainly priced the tickets wrong? Several portsers on hear have been saying different lol.
 
I know people are complaining about this game and prices but what’s the excuse for the other games? If it was about price you’d have a full house for Bethune because you can get tickets for under $10. Want to see a better team than go to the GT or Louisville game those are like $20 but those games will be empty too. Herbstreit just said it Miami fans just don’t care unless it’s FSU

You are telling me Rad, athletic dept, and ticketing dept. cant develop a price plan themselves and have to hire a consulting team to do it for us????

We also have people who want to give away tickets at Burger King. So maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle.

No one wants to answer this. Our last national championship team played to a half-empty Orange Bowl all year. Slashing ticket prices maybe gets another couple hundred people to show up.

I feel like the crowd is gonna be 50-50 this weekend.
A lot of tamu fans aren’t gonna mind traveling to Miami for the weekend. Especially when they think they gonna push us around and roll.
It’s just as hot and humid in college station as it is in sofla.

Now, if we smack them in the mouth and roll, expect ticket sales to explode.

Too many lies told for too many years and people are gonna want to see it before they buy it.

I wanna address this 50-50 crowd split comment. Are you new? Point to me a time an away team ever came here and had 50% of their fans in attendance? Seeing that we’ve been at Hard Rock for 15 years and you’ve had a pretty good sample size to this point, the 50-50 comment was a head scratcher. Pull yourself together the remainder of the season.

This was a funny attempt to motivate anyone who was in the fence about attending. And yet the crowd was not what it should be for this game.
But the ones that did show up brought the hit stick to HRS!!!
I’ve been a season ticket holder since 2016.
Last time we had an opponent reach even close to that number was fsu that same year.
Let’s hope we cont building.

But I stand by my statement that they never should’ve priced this game the way they did.

But winning still cures a lot and I already have people that never go to games asking me here at work today “hey when’s the next game”.
