Oh absolutely. He's clearly desperate to do so. Nothing wrong with it. Just calling a spade a spade. People are eating up everything he promises. I personally think it's a little silly and most educated folks find his claim to be absurd.

LOLOL I love this idea that UNC, which is one of the biggest brands on earth, and most loyal fanbases on earth, only got donations to their athletics program b/c of the presence of Butch Davis and his 8 win seasons. You can't make this stuff up folks........or actually, you can.

They're the same buttons that get recruits, players and staff in his corner....

He's definitely a good salesman...which isn't so bad for a HC to have...

I didn't say it was bad. Just stating that he's the ultimate salesman/politician. He's certainly working his *** off to get this job, and I appreciate his grind and desire to coach here.

The cold war was with the U.S.S.R. The trade embargo with Cuba still exists.

We hired our last president and kept her around for 15 yrs based on fundraising abilities and/or lies. Can't blame ol' Butch for playing this card. I give him even more points for promising a rate of cash flow that probably even exceeds what Shalala is credited.
