If they would not consider him, they would not have considered him before Al Golden 2.0 was higher.

Coker was the rebound from her friend group. Shannon was that girl you tried dating while away at college, since you knew her from high school. Golden was the exchange student that was like a 5, but she was different so you gave it a shot.

Richt is the Bible study girl that you were hoping had that preacher's daughter wild streak, but it turns out she was legit about Bible study. You're starting to think she's just using you to impress her family, and are wondering "What am I getting out of this but blue balls?"

Probably took that too far... Also, I'd take Campbell (the sorority girl that every single guy is eyeing right now)

It may very well be true. That only means the AD for those teams are dumber than our AD and some of our Butch loving fans.

He has single handily lost games being conservative. From college to the pros. There’s a reason Bruce Arians loathes him.

I actually did a career choke breakdown on him back when I was on caneinsider. From Miami , unc to Cleveland. The amount of second half collapses was unreal.

People forget a lot about his coaching by that roster he left behind. They also forget that 2000 team. I’ve always said “ only Butch could’ve screwed that roster up. It was actually better top to bottom than the 01 team. But people fail to remember that, since we crapped the bed.

So we **** the bed but FSU didn’t? Correct me if I’m wrong but the Washington Team was pretty good weren’t they? They ended the season w 1 loss as well, right?

I think ppl need to give the 2000 season a fresher look. To this day, no team who beat the consensus # 1 and # 2 ranked teams and have one loss or less have not played for the national championship. Butch didn’t chit the bed, the BCS screwed us, and every objectional person knows that. I’m not even talking as a Canes fan.

He built up a **** poor UNC team. For everything Mack Brown did for UNC football, John Butting did the exact opposite. He’s now built up a FIU school who used to avg 3.5 wins/season until Butch got there.

Look, I don’t know y the guy gets all the hate he does as any reasonable Miami fan should be greatful that he’s the sole reason why we have the memories we do when we were this close to being an irrelevant program, but the hate needs to stop. He left, we get it. He left at an inopportune time, but I’m really shocked at the way many, including you my friend, have gone to rip him.

He’s not perfect, but clearly what’s going at FIU shows he still has a lot of gas in his tank.

Actually, Marvin was KICKED OFF THE TEAM. And several players were suspended for 3 games. And u should know I come w facts, and I keep it 100. The 2010 team was a bad example. If anything, that 2009 team would’ve been a better example, imo.
