Butch or Chud. Which do you prefer? Your thoughts.

Either way, a coach that goes 6-7 in year 4 shouldn't be here anymore, end of story. Golden is a stubborn mediocre coach who won't fire his inept best friend or the useless DB/DLine coaches. He's the king of excuses and uses "the cloud" and the "negative fanbase" (a fan base that sees right through the BS called "The Process") for his inability to be successful as a coach or a recruiter. This is all frustrating to watch from up here in NYC, and it makes me hate Jersey even more! Just have to hope (and pray) that after Donna leaves the next President of the University sends him packing (as well as over his head Blake James). I would love Butch back, but I honestly think Chud would be a great hire as well. Didn't get enough of a chance in his hometown of Cleveland. I believe he would put his heart and soul into restoring the U back to the success of when he was here as both a player and the offensive coordinator of the greatest college football team of all time.

Butch. Chud. Rich Rod. ****, I'd take Kiffin in a heartbeat.


But it's more than just removing the coach at this point. The ****heads that have clogged up the athletic department in Shalala's time at the school need to be flushed out. This whole athletic department needs an *****, otherwise even the next coach, while being an improvement from Golden's incompetence, will still struggle to succeed at a high level.
 
In need of an athletic *****? Butch should be made HC and interim AD (1 to 2 years). That will give him the clout to totally "CLEANSE"
the excrement, out of the athletic department.
 
I would take about anyone over Golden right now. He's just in over his head and it used to be painful to watch but now i just laugh. I saw where Scarlett decommitted and laughed.

If it were between Butch and Chud, I'd be 110% Butch. I don't think Chud would want to recruit, he is just an X's and O's guy, yet he would still be better than Golden.

Chud would only come here (extremely unlikely) if it was to be HC.
Butch would come here as HC without a doubt. But I completely believe He'd come here if he was offered the DC position.

So, I think Chud as HC, Butch as DC, and Dorsey as OC...
Perfect scenario IMO. But no way Chud is coming back to college.

Mario by far. Chad is an assistant HC in Pros and Butch has been tainted. Will never coach again at UM.
Mario has had HC experience, great recruiter and has coached a couple of years under Saban. Foremost he is a former UM player, loves the U and knows recruiting in South Florida and knows the ropes.
 
Chud.

Butch is too old, too long gone from success to bring it anymore.

Chud has been handed the keys to Andrew Luck, he knows whats up.

Please tell me this is post is a goof. You can't possibly be serious about wanting Mario over Butch. Or wanting Mario over anyone for that matter. He's Golden 2.0.

This is the kind of thinking we need.

As to Butch or Chud, stop deifying Butch. Brilliant talent evaluator, mediocre recruiter, mediocre game coach. As to Chud, other than his ties to the program, I see nothing there to get excited about. Would a Butch administration be better than what we have? Absolutely, but what wouldn't be? A Chud administration, who knows?

Jimmy Chud is not coming. He wants to stay in the NFL. Butch will not be rehired by the University; specially by a new President coming in. Thence, the two choices given are unrealistic.
Who do you suggest. Not another inexperience young coach that has no SouthnFloridabconnections.
