Those who hate Butch now are the ones who never gave him credit for what he did (which is flat out amazing to me), were too butt hurt when he left and coincidentally didn't think Shalala was a problem at all denying him a buy out, and then went nuts when some of us wanted him back just because of how he knew how to handle $EC cheating.
Was he the best game day coach? **** no....but are you happy with all the excellent game day coaches we got instead? GTFOH.
Butch wanted this one, and unlike our players, his subpar players gave a **** enough to do the best they could to try and get it for him. We had to coincidentally perform to the ****tiest of levels this year....and thanks to our all world game day coach, we obliged.

I went to UM and was a Butch fan .... when he was at Miami.
Since then he negative recruited Miami about Brian Pata's murder while he was at UNC and now pulled his bull**** line comparing his little stall tactic "hamstring injuries" to a potentially serious elbow dislocation to our best player.
You are a total clown and an asshat like Butch.

It's funny that Canes fans are making excuses for Davis. Just goes to show how many Canes fans still want to gargle Bootch's *******.
We still talk about the Gator Flop from 30 years ago and how it was bullsh!t to play the game that way. If Dan Mullen had done the same that Davis did in the UM-UF game, we'd be laughing at how pathetic it is that UF resorted to that. No one but a UF fan would say, "oh he did what it took to win." They would be an embarrassment across CFB and I guarantee you the win wouldn't be worth much. If it came down to a playoff spot and the BCS committee was trying to figure out the #4 spot, the commitee wouldn't be talking about impressive it is that a wiley Dan Mullen found a way to beat Miami by having his team flop and fake injuries to disrupt the Miami offense, they'd count the game against UF as being a pathetic way to win and the W would be meaningless. You all know this is a fact.
If any other coach did that, I guarantee most fans would be furious. Davis gets lauded by our cuck fans because 90% of this board would stand in line to drink cups of Bootch Davis ****.
