Many on here have said that today's high school kids never saw a butch coached team. The argument for the other side has been that while the kids may have not seen it, their parents and coaches have. Now, that is all great and well but their still needs to be a strong pitch from Butch to the kids. That pitch is this:
"I assembled the greatest college football team of all time. I put XX number of players in the NFL, many of them pro-bowlers and questionably the best at their positions. With all that, I started something at Miami which I didn't finish. I'm back to finish what I started. This is the continuation of the greatest collection of talent of any college program, and I'm asking you to join us and make history. The decision is soley yours and it's an easy one, either join us or get beat by us."
Kisses momma on the forehead on the way out. Looks back at potential recruit, "Don't make the wrong decision."
