I think the BBB crew on here would laugh at the thought of lumping me in with them. Butch is obviously still passionate about coaching. Most older coaches have a hard time getting another job, doesn't mean that he's a has been. Les Miles has a NC resume and the best job he could get was Kansas.

I don't fawn over him and don't expect him to ever bring another team like the 2001 team, but we don't need teams like that. We just need the best S Fl players recruited to the program, and he was exceptional at that.

I've said on here that if Richt were to leave I'd want Butch or Campbell. Given that it happened this quickly, I'd prefer Butch. I still respect the **** out of Richt but he pretty much stopped recruiting and wasn't willing to make changes that a HC needs to make. He did the right thing.
