You must have no life if that’s your response. And judging by your approval rating on this board, you seem to be very unintelligent about UM football.what an awful post from beginning to end.

fair enough, i feel like if Butch had wanted a job the last 8 years he coulda got one, just not that sure there was one he truly wanted come open, I was scared ****less Texas was gonna hire him when they hired CS, goddamm Butch with that Texas money, with an administration thats all-in on football, the state of Texas at his disposal, he would have built a monster in a minute, and he had those Cowboy SB rings to flash the recruits, it would have been unfair. I was down in the keys when all that was goin on, sittin at the Big Chill, talking ball w a couple formers, and was told Butch had no interest, couldnt believe it, who wouldnt want that gig. Butch may be a bit quirky in that regard, he really wanted to come back to Miami. The thought of this board is ever job that comes open Butch tried to get, which couldnt be further from the truth, we actually dont know if he applied for any job. I really dont understand how anyone could think he would do worse than Mork has here, as it stands today i think pretty much any coach could do what Mork's done, nothing special at all. We are in the 40's right now on 19 class ? have no clue who our QB is from game to game, with no good croots in sight at said position, offense sucks, defense was decent but he jumped ship so who knows going forward. I respect your opinion as well but you cant believe we are looking good for the futureIn recent memory Butch was unemployed as a HC for eight years and is now at a lower tiered, non Power 5 job. Do you really think he is just misunderstood by the dozens and dozens of big time programs that have had openings and never considered him?
I ask that sincerely, Im not trolling you. i respect your passion and I know you are a long timer like me.
Actually, we won that game.

Yet we hired a fired coach who’s former team is a perennial National Champ contender and we are worse off then when we hired him.that sums up my reaction to the OP's post. The best job Butch job got was FIU - nuff said.

BUMP. Should we continue this convo ? yes we should. Butch has more fire and more heart in his little finger than Mork has had in his whole body his entire life, and thats all i need. Nobody is a perfect coach, including Butch, but he's 10 x the coach Mork is, I want a coach that wants to win and wants to win bad, one w a little bit of attitude, thats a "fit" for The Miami Hurricanes. I've said it a million times, Miami is unlike anywhere else, it needs the right "fit" more so than any other program, i dont know how else to describe it. It's funny to me going back and reading these clowns defending Mork, he's so ******* lame it's pitiful, was never a fit here and never will be. I remember when everybody wanted Peterson back when, maybe the RS hire ? I said then, **** no, not a good fit for him, he's a real good coach imo, but he dont fit here. Jimmy was the right fit, bold, brash, ****y, bit of an attitude, then we got lucky again w Dennis, Dennis had some ******* swag about him like him or not, neither were perfect coaches. Yall aint gone like it but since your gonna ask me, of the guys out there right now, other than Butch of coarse, Kiffin is a real good fit for this program, and i'm not a huge fan, but i know a fit when i see one, and he has calmed down and gotten better after his stint under the god. But I would still hire Butch tomorrow, he holds the blueprint, has ******* balls, and as have mentioned before, hire Butch and we get Jimmy's services free, i really dont understand how anybody could neg on that but there are some real football idiots here
it's too simple, and makes too much senseBingo it’s a fit. He’s able to sell himself that he’s done it here before, why not again. He’s not afraid to pull some strings. He’ll hit up the junior college market which the top SEC schools always grab those guys. I can’t stand this anymore, let’s make it happen tomorrow.
