So here in Cleveland, one of the local sports talk hosts has had a long relationship with Butch Davis dating back to when Butch was DC under Jimmy. He interviewed Butch today and they talked about Miami, the reasons why he left for The Browns (which was fascinating and infuriating at the same time), and his desire to get back into coaching. It's a bit of a long interview, but I think it's worth it.

Butch has been voting Mich. St. at 4th and OSU is his dark horse candidate for the playoffs.

This is tooooooooooooo simple. You have a chance for a major upgrade.......do it!!!! It really is that simple..

LeBron went back to Cleveland after experimenting in Miami.

will Butch come back to Miami after experimenting in Cleveland?

Botch will be spending the remainder of his life regretting his move to Cleveland.

Only because it set up an unnecessary vacation to North Carolina and the commentator booth before his triumphant return to Miami! He'll accept you back when you see the light.

@FlaSportsFan88: The admin does not view him as unhirable.

Depends who you ask. No majority on any important issue right now from our leadership

If UM wants to win right away, someone with his experience, connections, and clout would be the rare perfect fit.

They just have to do something about the current **** show going on first.

I've talked to a few people who would be willing to hire him back. If that's the attitude after game 7, I would think it would gain steam going into game 12 if the season continues to tank. But I agree. There's no consensus on any important topic at the moment.

He should be right up UMs alley. He'll come cheap. Thing is, instead of being an up-and-comer, he's seasoned.

I have no faith this gets done, but sure hope I am wrong.
