Razorback Alum. Would be a great opportunity to get into SEC. Win win situation for BD. Win he builds his legacy. Lose, he retires and finishes respectable career. Major upgrade from FIU.

Arkansas has to do a major rebuild. They are 1-23 in the last 3 seasons in conference play and they haven't even been close to competitive in most of those games. A 70-year Davis would be recruiting against some real heavy weights.

That same logic applied around four times since Butch was ousted from Cleveland, yet they always went a different direction than this alum.

Dude isn't landing a big gig at this rate. Wanted him back at Miami instead of Richt, but fact remains dude has some skeletons in his closet—as he's been passed over for a slew of jobs over the years—which is why he had to be his buddy Pete Garcia into hiring him over that commuter school in West Miami.

Butch is going to raid Florida with Arkansas bags if he gets the job. We already have Nebraska gaining a stronger present in florida we don't need another team.

I would be surprised if they hire him. He wasn't really a candidate when Richt was hired even though some posters falsely claimed he was in line for the job if Richt hadn't been hired. I suspect Davis slurpers are pushing the rumor of Davis to Arkansas. I think he's basically been blacklisted from P5 programs. Guess we'll see soon enough.

You are going to embarrass yourself if you actually think Blake James was about to hire Bootch Davis. He interviewed but Miamis interest didnt go much further than that. The Miami Herald reported that the school was not satisfied with Davis's explanation of his involvement in the UNC scandal (even though he was technically cleared they still wanted answers). Miami lost all interest after that. If not Richt, would have been Schiano.
