I wanted butch as much as anyone, but that is done. Mark is our guy now and showed some promise. We can revisit in two years. That said could the mark love children stop its the loser uga crap CMR.

good idea about botch. Let's consider hiring a has been that will be close to 70 years old in 2 years.

It's actually ok to like both Richt and Butch. JJ and Schnelly too. For some reason, really dense folks can't figure this out and come up with truly moronic reasons. Like this:

He's the same age as Saban, which means your ilk think any school hiring Saban now or at any time in future, were he available, would be foolish.

I always said he was a nightmare game coach.

Every game under him was a Chinese Fire Drill. The sidelines looked like the airfield at Lakehurst under the Hindenburg.

Every game: Multiple flags for too many men on the field, delay of game after a timeout, false starts on 3rd and short, etc. Compounded mistakes. A turnover, followed immediately by a defensive ***** up leading to a TD, followed by a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, etc.

That VT game, when we were up 10-0, with the ball in the red zone, and three plays later were down 21-`10.

That PSU game was his masterpiece. Every stupid coaching error possible, yet we are up, inside their 30, with third and inches, and a first down or FG wins the game. Two Coker Specials (slow developing, telegraphed dives against 11 defenders), and still have the game won. Except the sideline looked like a mosh pit, and we couldnt get a defense on the field, and PSU scores in seconds. It was a 10 yard pass, and 70 yard run after catch, as I recall?

The UW game in 2000. I remember Neiuhiesel telling the sideline reporter at half that he couldnt believe how his obvious, pop warner show man defense that dropped into zone had psyched out our playcalling, and that we were just giving the game away. Botch's idiocy in the second half, all those failed 2 pt trys, was the difference in the game.

The guy is a great recruiter, talent evaluator, but a clown as a game day coach, and HE should have seen Coker for what he was long before Coker got the HC job. (Coker was an awful OC for us under )

In fact, I wasn't very happy just a year ago during a four game run . . . Where were you?

The NFL saw the complete opposite from you. They only hire the very best of college coaches, especially game coaching, since there is no recruiting. One of the two of you is wrong.
Dunning-Kruger prevents cognizance of which that would be.

No, I was not happy at all.

But "BS"? Do you remember the Botch years? I'll bet the farm we had the record or near it for too many men on the field penalties, and delay of game flags, during his tenure. Did you see the '99 PSU game? The EC game? The Cuse game?

The Butch sideline looked like Tokyo in a Kaiju movie. Just chaos and panic.
