I was upset after the first couple times but that was Belichickian. Just straight ruthless. In retrospect, it was my favorite part of the night.

Those games of faking injuries should have infuriated our team to beat the snot out of FIU.

Instead they laid down and pointed fingers, coaches included. Why?

Agree, but to the original point—Butch is still bush league, second rate and there's a reason he and all his washed up cronies are at a bottom-feeder program like FIU, opposed to somewhere better.

There's a reason no school worth it's weight would hire this guy over the past few decades, sans North Carolina (who was running a dirty basketball program).

Dude is proven trash. Great, he got the win—and still woke up today as the head coach at lowly FIU, where he'll remain for the duration of his do-nothing career since leaving Miami almost two decades ago.

They did it to create a competitive advantage on both of their 4th down stops when we had the personnel on the field in our favor.

1. It allows them to substitute.
2. It allows them to rest.
3. It allows them to get in the proper call.

...so it actually had a lot to do with why we lost.

Fine. 1%. My point was it SHOULDN’T matter when we’re playing a team like FIU.

Exactly. Our team AGAIN wasn't ready to play and looked like they wanted to be anywhere else....after a bye week to prepare.

Couple of dudes lay down on the field and they are responsible for our sleepwalking through another football game. GTFOH.
 
The flops were F*ing disgusting.
But more disgusting was the fact that Butch had every one of our weaknesses on both offense and defense diagnosed and we could do nothing to adjust.
I'm not by any means in the "dump Manny" camp yet. But he'd better well be **** cognizant that there are serious coaching issues on both sides of the ball.
