Butch Barry out Garin Justise in at OL

Barry wasn’t even an ol coach , he was a assistant ol coach lol. Searles getting fired was a very common occurrence. Both hires sucked.

This is actually a very good hire with a lot of experience for a young guy.
What was Jess Simpson? A HS coach then a year as Falcons DL assistant.

I think this says a lot about our new OC. His first hire is a guy who has been a head coach and his last position was OC/OL coach. Lashlee shows he isn’t intimidated or unsure of himself, which is more than a lot of people would do. For example, you think ****face Penos would make a hire like that? Poor leaders want yes men, good leaders want to be challenged and allow the best ideas/practices win the day, no matter who came up with it.

Good Hire.

UNLV consistently had top rush offense numbers.

This would have been a great off-season for Manny had he fired Rumph.

Rumph is digging us a deeper and deeper hole at CB. We can't even keep numbers with him let alone get top CBs with him on staff.
How anyone doesn’t have Patke on top of their lists of coach who should have gotten the axe.

Cant coach.
Cant recruit.
Had gotten a promotion to CO-DC and his contract might be silly compared to his results

Think about it?

Strikers regressed.
Special teams was a joke. (Hedley was properly coached prior to coming so he takes zero credit for the Aussie)

OC are usually.....usually allowed to hire an OL coach. Not always. Manny had a say so in allowing him to hire his own guy. Not everything has to be negative about Diaz. Last year is over. Move on

It’s not negative. However don’t think Manny has many relationships with OL coaches that run spread. Come on man.
Also we will be negative until shown otherwise. U talk for yourself.

Who has he developed
Who has he recruited
Who has he worked under

Seems like we are all in on the 3rd question. What about the other 2? Deeper dive is needed

EDIT: just saw Stefans full write up.

Was the O-Line coach for that 2017 Arizona team that ran for 300 yards a game and made Khalil Tate a Heisman contender for 2018. I'm sold.
I remember that team. Insane run game. Tate was averaging 9+ yards a game, and Taylor was no slouch.
