Butch’s gameday coaching

at times butch has only played with 6 OL men this year. two of them playing with injuries. he has freshman on his line just like us
 
Butch Davis is a football GOD!

It's really unfortunate that our admin couldn't get their eggshell egos under control long enough to hire Butch back when we had the chance.

Our program would be in an entirely more positive situation by now if Butch had been here for the last 5 years or so.

False? I'm not name calling but your post is beyond delusional calling Butch false after what he did here. Like I've told others, say what you want but you WISH our current team played like his did. Now say you don't. Go on and lie, say it.
 
Last year I kept mentioning Mogridge's name to replace Searels. He's a great up and coming OL coach (who can also recruit) who was with Butch as a TE coach at UNC and slowly been growing as a coach. He would have been a great choice here.

@caneinorlando am wondering: who were the reported names to be on Butch's all-star staff? I'm sure Mogridge would have been one of them, but it wouldn't have surprised me if Butch had gotten Pittman to come back with him here, either.

Pittman's recruiting at UNC (totally revamped their OL recruiting and coaching) and Arkansas (he got Kirkland out of South Florida) were awesome. But what he's been doing at UGA (yes I know: bags) recruiting AND coaching is even more exceptional. UGA has like 3 4 star and 2 5 star OL this year committed alone.

Yep. I am definitely a guy that thinks he's an average game day coach. But the other three are his traits. I may take a look at the old UNC staff even to see how some of those guys (besides Pittman and Mogridge) are currently doing.

and above all that....defensive ***ing linemen, it's unbelievable how he comes up with those dudes, even at UNC, and that ladies and gents, is how you build a defense. You run a 4-3 cover 2 man under base D, and have 5-7 bad ****'s rotating up front to keep the heat up, college QB's cant handle that constant pressure in their face and will F up every time
